Research Interests

My research interests focus on the economic impacts of IT-enabled business models on consumer behavior, firm strategy, market competition, and social welfare.

Some of my recent projects include: (1) resource allocation and service contracts management in cloud computing, (2) liquidity savings mechanism design for fast payments, (3) incentive design and coordination using distributed ledger technologies, and (4) firm pricing and platform strategies in the presence of new media advertising.

Research Methods

I am comfortable with a variety of analytical-modeling and quantitative research methods. I have used analytical modelling including game theory and mechanism design in my work. Other quantitative methods that I have used in my research include optimization, simulation, experiments, and econometric analysis.
