Construct Validity: This type of validity is based on how results from an instrument relate to other measures in the theoretical environment under study. For example if one believes that user satisfaction with an IS relates to enjoyment in using the IS, an instrument would be said to have construct validity if a positive relation were found between its results and a measure of enjoyment.
