As a way of saving and enlarging on the responses Alan Dennis received on sources on surveying (which Dennis Viehland has also put out in INFOSYS), we have filled out most of the citations on this list and made it part of our web site on surveys: http://www.ucalgary.ca/~newsted/surveys.html We hope the fact that it will never be complete and will always need additions and qualifications, will encourage others of you interested in surveying to send us your further sources and views here. And we even encourage one of you to opt for maintaining this page in the future (as part of the ISWorld iniative). In addition, pls check out our site as well to see the instruments we have just linked to which have been developed by Jane Webster and her colleagues. We look forward to hearing from you. I'll be at ICIS in Amsterdam this year and would welcome the opportunity to chat with anyone about surveys and our web project as well. Cheers from Canada, Pete P.S. Also keep watching our site as we soon hope to have: - more instruments available (we just put out a request to a number of authors asking for their permission to include their instruments) - an introductory section on surveying (being written by Barbara Marcolin) - an advanced section on modeling and theory confirmation with survey data (being written by Wynne Chin)
