The establishment and management of a telephone conference with several participants can be done manually. As the accompanying float diagram shows, this is not a trivial task, involving tracing of feedback-tones from and feeding of more or less "cryptic" codes (like *70#) to a switch in the telephone network. The complexity of the procedure may in part explain the limited use of this service. An automated procedure run through drag'n'drop operations as offered in POT, might lead to increased use of this telecommunication service. |
