Anonymous Review

MISQ utilizes a double-anonymous review in respect to authors and reviewers. However, it is possible a reviewer may have seen an earlier version of the research at a conference, research seminar, etc. The associate editors and senior editors are aware of author identity. The authors are not aware of the identity of the associate editor.

Please ensure the names of the authors and/or their affiliations do not appear on the title page.

Do not refer to “my previous research” or “our previous research” and then give a reference to your own work. You may refer to your own work, but the sentence should be written with anonymity, e.g. “In previous research, Jones et al. (2011) discovered….” Be sure to include all relevant references, but remain discreet when self-citing.
